I am honored to be the dad to three amazing kids, each of whom is moving in their own direction. I am a Go-Giver implementer, using The Five Laws of Stratospheric Laws of Success to grow the last three software companies, where I served in a variety of leadership roles. I enjoy leading and developing leaders, helping them understand the ValYou™ of their organization, its employees, and themselves. I am a life-long learner, always working to learn something new that will allow me or my team to be just 1% better. I strive to be a waterman, spending as much time in the ocean as I reasonably can. I desire to be a speaker, sharing with as many others as I can the lessons of The Go-Giver, The Coffee Bean, and The Great CIO.

Q: Please tell us a little bit about yourself. Feel welcome to include your family, meaning pets as well.
I have more dogs (4) than kids (3), I am a passionate promoter of The Go-Giver, sharing the book with as many as I can. I have always led differently than others, and when I found The Go-Giver Community, I found people who understood my heart.

Q: Where were you born, where were you raised, and where do you currently live (City, State/Province, Country)?
I was born, raised, and currently live in Orange County, California. I have saltwater in my veins and have learned I need it to survive.

Q: What is one of your favorite quotes or lines in a song or movie and why does it resonate with you?
This is a difficult one. “You make a living by what you get, you make a life by what you give” is the most consistent favorite, although they flow in and out. I truly believe that our life is made by serving others, that giving of our time, talent, and resources gives us purpose.

Q: What inspired you or led you to your current career?
My desire to make an impact, coaching and developing leaders, who will then in turn do the same, within a context of a medium that can profoundly affect lives is amazing to me.

Q: What do you enjoy most about what you do?
Coaching and mentoring leaders. Anything in the water, from surfing to Underwater Torpedo League. If it is in the water, I am going to enjoy it.

Q: What advice would you give to your 18-year-old self?
Two things.  Facing fear makes you feel alive and trust yourself; stand firm. And buy as much Microsoft, Google, Amazon as you can when they hit the street.

Q: What is one of your favorite places to be or travel to?
Ireland for the people, Big Island of Hawaii for the landscape, and Australia for the surf.

Q: If you could choose anyone (past or present, fictional or real) with whom to have lunch, who would it be and why?
Nelson Mandela, a man who led, loved, and impacted no matter the barriers put in front of him.

Q: Who inspires you to be the best version of yourself?
Each of my kids has a role in inspiring me to be the best version of myself.

Q: How did you first discover “The Go-Giver”?
It was given to me one of my best friends and colleagues who I respect and admire deeply.

Q: Who would you like to see featured on The Faces Of The Go-Giver Community and why?
Mel Frank, she is going to set the world a fire and it’s great to have this community by her side.

Q: Finally, how can we know if someone we come in contact with is a good connection or prospective customer/client for you?
A CEO, President, or VP that is looking to grow and develop in their leadership acumen, skill, and effectiveness.
