I am currently wearing a million hats… I have been VP of Business Development & Community Outreach with TTR Sotheby’s International Realty for close to 15 years and have been in the real estate industry for over twenty years. I’m also a newly published author of Pivotry: The Art of Shifting, a self-help memoir designed to help the reader shift successfully in life and business while creating their own definition of success. Lastly, I am a certified leadership coach, and Founder of TRY Advisors LLC, focused on partnering with my clients to transform their lives and amplify their business. And, I’m planning my destination wedding!
Q: Please tell us a little bit about yourself. Feel welcome to include your family, meaning pets as well.
I am a proud single mom of a 22 year old who is about to graduate from Northeastern University in December 2023. I am also about to get married in June for the first time, and have fallen in love with our one-year old Mini Bernedoodle, Fenway!
Q: Where were you born, where were you raised, and where do you currently live (City, State/Province, Country)?
I was born in Cebu City, Philippines and moved to the US in 1985. I currently live in Washington DC.
Q: What is one of your favorite quotes or lines in a song or movie and why does it resonate with you?
“Don’t worry about a thing, cause every little thing, is going to be alright!” always reminds me of my mom. That was her mantra and now I remind myself of this when I’m going through a rough patch.
Q: What inspired you or led you to your current career?
I fell into real estate because I just needed a job, but have been in the industry for over twenty years now. I pivoted my career into leadership coaching about 6 years ago.
Q: What do you enjoy most about what you do?
I love coaching women, entrepreneurs, and teenagers. I love being a witness to their Aha moments, knowing I helped get them there.
Q: What advice would you give to your 18-year-old self?
Trust your gut and love yourself. Own who you are, despite how different you may look and feel, and know that all the struggles are only temporary.
Q: What is one of your favorite places to be or travel to?
Bermuda… and we happen to be getting married there!
Q: If you could choose anyone (past or present, fictional or real) with whom to have lunch, who would it be and why?
I would have lunch with my maternal grandfather who died when I was two years old. He was a real estate mogul and epitomized being a Go-Giver!
Q: Who inspires you to be the best version of yourself?
My son, Matt! As a single mom, I made him and his life my ultimate priority.
Q: How did you first discover “The Go-Giver”?
Through Larry Kendall’s course, Ninja Selling. I read it in one day and was hooked!
Q: Who would you like to see featured on The Faces Of The Go-Giver Community and why?
My friend, Melanie Frank who introduced me to this amazing community!
Q: Finally, how can we know if someone we come in contact with is a good connection or prospective customer/client for you?
If someone is stuck in their life or business, I can help them get unstuck with my intuitive, leadership style of coaching.
