Known globally as the creator of The Grateful Box®, The Grateful Method, Grumpy to Grateful, and Nextdoor Business Mastery Programs. As CEO and Founder of Grateful Box, I’m passionate about teaching business owners how to transform their business using gratitude and creating raving fans. After graduating from East Carolina University, I began my career with Campbell Soup Sales, transitioned to technology, helping Sprint bring the first digital mobile phone to the world, and then my final Corporate America job was at Cisco Systems. After finding myself in the “dot com bust” I started my insurance agency from scratch 11 days after 9/11. After 15 years of owning, growing, and merging insurance agencies under my practice, I sold that practice at the age of 44 and took the leap into inspiring grateful living around the world.

Married to Rick Angeli for 23 Years, Samantha Angeli, only child and daughter 20 years old, Katie, 4 Year old Fur Baby Service Dog Flunky, Black English Lab From Project2Heal.
Q: Where were you born, where were you raised, and where do you currently live (City, State/Province, Country)?
Born in Raleigh, North Carolina and currently lives in Charlotte, North Carolina.
Q: What is one of your favorite quotes or lines in a song or movie and why does it resonate with you?
Life is a journey, not a destination. My dad constantly told me this. He lived out loud and taught me how to have fun and leave fear and worry behind.
Q: What inspired you or led you to your current career?
Gratitude changed my life and God inspired me to take the leap of faith and inspire grateful living around the world; to leave a really safe space that I had grown and go be the light for others.
Q: What do you enjoy most about what you do?
I love to see someone begin the habit of gratitude in their life and business. Once they see the transformation in their life, it brings me such joy.
Q: What advice would you give to your 18-year-old self?
Don’t be attached to the opinions of others. After losing both of my parents in the past 4 years I have learned that we are so attached to the opinions of others. After we are gone only a few people will have even cared what we thought.
Q: What is one of your favorite places to be or travel to?
Locally, Bald Head Island. Internationally, Monaco and the French Riviera is my favorite place on earth.
Q: If you could choose anyone (past or present, fictional or real) with whom to have lunch, who would it be and why?
My Nana Stella. I would want to thank her for all the wisdom she poured into me in the summers in the vegetable garden. A time when there was no technology and the phone was attached to the wall. No AC at her house and early rising was how we started the day. I would tell her that I have kept her amazing tradition of writing Samantha, my daughter, a letter every week with $20 of cash included in the mail since she left for college. 88 Weeks and counting. I would tell her thank you for inspiring me and cheering me on as a young person.
Q: Who inspires you to be the best version of yourself?
My husband. He is the wisest, most humble, giving person I have ever known who loves me unconditionally

I heard about The Go-Giver from Steve Eanes. Then I was honored to meet Bob in California last year and the meeting was life changing.
