Donna Stott

I'm a salesperson. And proud of it. It is my absolute joy to support OTHER salespeople — and YES, we are ALL salespeople — to achieve Success as they define it. My Coaching Practice began in 2006 and many of my clients stay for a long time… some of them over 15 years! Why? Because they get results and set new goals over and over! It's not all about money, of course, and in that arena, the average full-time client I have earns over $450K a year and some over $1M. One of my long-time clients is approaching $10M in personal income while we've worked together. Now that is exciting alone, and what she has DONE with that money is even more important. Currently, I'm excited to be working on my first book about my US Trademarked Time Management Method called Do it, Move it, or Delete it.

Q: Please tell us a little bit about yourself. Feel welcome to include your family and pets too.
Mom to 5 adult kids, spouse of the wonderful Mike Stott, and grandmother to 8, so far. I love my work and my family. I love my spiritual journey and my garden.

Q: Where were you born, where were you raised, and where do you currently live (City, State/Province, Country)?
I was born in Ft. Worth, Texas but moved at 6 weeks old to Central Florida where my father’s family has been since the early 1800's. I've also lived on Oahu in Hawaii and have been in the greater Atlanta area for 16 years now!

Q: What is one of your favorite quotes or lines in a song or movie and why does it resonate with you?
"Our deepest fear is not that we are inadequate. Our deepest fear is that we are powerful beyond measure." ― Marianne Williamson. It really is for most of us… our biggest fear.

Q: What inspired you or led you to your current career?
This is a long story, but short version: I had a terrible boss who loved exercising power over women. I wanted a job where I had unlimited income potential, didn't need a college degree to get, and had a schedule that let me set it myself. I hired a Coach who helped me increase my income. Our income went up over the 15 years of coaching as Agents by a whopping 650%. Capping out at over $2M a year gross. Year one of coaching it doubled and kept going up, or at least staying steady, even during market downturns.

Q: What do you enjoy most about what you do?
Teaching Courses and Workshops. There are free ones on our website! And in Coaching, I love watching people: 1-Learn what is really important to them 2-Create a plan to fulfill their Life Intentions that takes them from Visioning it to LIVING it 3-Support them to achieve their goals!

Q: What advice would you give to your 18-year-old self?
I was a mess at 18… I'd say "Don't give up, you WILL live through this… And girl…. get out of this mess you are in NOW rather than waiting another year."

Q: What is one of your favorite places to be or travel to?
Italy. Going again in December.

Q: If you could choose anyone (past or present, fictional or real) with whom to have lunch, who would it be and why?
My great grandmother. I have so many questions about her life I never asked. She was born in 1900. I did ask one: What was the most important invention in your lifetime… she said "Sash Windows"… Let that sink in.

Q: Who inspires you to be the best version of yourself?
My husband. Beyond a shadow of a doubt. That man is incredible. 30 years hasn't been enough with him… It's a good start.

Q: How did you first discover “The Go-Giver”?
I am not sure but must have heard about the book from real estate friends somehow!

Q: Who would you like to see featured on The Faces Of The Go-Giver Community and why?
Lisa Wilber. She's the absolute best… next to Mike Stott of course.

Q: Finally, how can we know if someone we come in contact with is a good connection or prospective customer/client for you?
Anyone in real estate sales who wants to grow, change, or sell their business is good. I have also started Coaching other small business owners and people who are trying to decide to retire or not. In any field.
