I have been in the real estate industry for over 20 years, and currently serve as the SVP of Premier Sotheby’s International Realty. Each day I help others stay in a positive mindset, work collaboratively to increase sales; always with the highest level of service possible.
Ultimately, I consider myself a student of gratitude, and have developed a series of habits all designed around living life in a state of being grateful — which yields incredible benefits. I am blessed to be living the career of my dreams, helping others reach their full potential. I am also a newly published author of The Habit of Grateful: a Handbook for Gratitude.
Q: Please tell us a little bit about yourself. Feel welcome to include your family, meaning pets as well.
I am the proud mom of four children, and happily married to my best friend. I am also the parent of a fur baby, Daisy, who we rescued.
Q: Where were you born, where were you raised, and where do you currently live (City, State/Province, Country)?
I was born in Litchfield County, Connecticut, and live in Sarasota County, Florida.
Q: What is one of your favorite quotes or lines in a song or movie and why does it resonate with you?
“I don’t know who I’m gonna talk to now at school. But I know I’m laughing on the car ride home with you. Don’t know how long it’s gonna take to feel okay. But I know I had the best day with you today.” The Best Day by Taylor Swift — because it reminds me of my daughter and our precious time together, and that special bond of navigating the challenges of becoming a woman, and how lucky I am to be a mom.
Q: What inspired you or led you to your current career?
A desire to help others, and I love all things related to home. It’s really where we live our life and is the center of our universe.
Q: What do you enjoy most about what you do?
I love building our team and creating a larger vision for the future of real estate.
Q: What advice would you give to your 18-year-old self?
To believe in yourself, not because of your bank account or the kind of car you drive — but because you are a giver. And there will always be room in the world for givers. A pure heart, passion and strong intention — mixed with some gratitude — will take you wherever you wish to go. Believe.
Q: What is one of your favorite places to be or travel to?
Paris!
Q: If you could choose anyone (past or present, fictional or real) with whom to have lunch, who would it be and why?
I wish I could have lunch with Oprah Winfrey. So much of my childhood was spent watching her show after school, and I feel that it opened the door to self help and finding the best version of me. I want to thank her!
Q: Who inspires you to be the best version of yourself?
My kids — definitely!
Q: How did you first discover “The Go-Giver”?
Through Larry Kendall at Ninja Selling. I was immediately intrigued and it stuck with me!
Q: Who would you like to see featured on The Faces Of The Go-Giver Community and why?
My good friend Melanie Frank &mash; because she is awesome!
Q: Finally, how can we know if someone we come in contact with is a good connection or prospective customer/client for you?
Anyone seeking a book on how to practice gratitude should read my book, The Habit of Grateful.
