Bonjour! I'm Estelle, AKA French Toast, the Community Manager for The Go-Giver Success Alliance Mentorship Community. My first language is French. I also speak English with a funny accent. You can find me in Old-Québec City riding my old bicycle, while drinking a cup of coffee.
I'm a Simple Living consultant on a mission to guide people in decluttering their life from the inside out so they can leave the earth a better place than they found it and experience more joy.
Q: Where were you born, where were you raised, and where do you currently live (City, State/Province, Country)?
I was born and raised in Lévis, Québec, Canada. I also spent 7 wonderful years in Calgary, Alberta. I currently live in Lévis and help my aging mother daily.
Q: What is one of your favorite quotes or lines in a song or movie and why does it resonate with you?
''Don't wish it was easier, wish you were better'' is a quote by Jim Rohn that I absolutely love. It reminds me how I am not a victim but rather fully responsible for myself. I find this quote very inspiring. I catch myself saying it out loud daily.
Q: What inspired you or led you to your current career?
Travelling around the world and working in the oil and gas industry has led me to think a lot more about my own life on earth and how I can contribute to lower my environmental impact.
Q: What do you enjoy most about what you do?
I enjoy the amazing feeling of inspiring women to achieve self-empowerment and happiness from within, while leaving a positive impact on earth.
Q: What advice would you give to your 18-year-old self?
I would tell my younger me to leave her toxic family household and cut all contacts with her parents and family. Find help and mentor. Start a healing journey as soon as possible.
Q: What is one of your favorite places to be or travel to?
Touring Europe with my backpack. I quite love Italy.
Q: If you could choose anyone (past or present, fictional or real) with whom to have lunch, who would it be and why?
Louise Arbour. She is a former High Commissioner for Human Rights. I'd love to learn about her courageous life path and how she dealt with her many challenges throughout her career.
Q: Who inspires you to be the best version of yourself?
That's got to be me!
Q: How did you first discover “The Go-Giver”?
I met a lovely couple in 2015 while I was living in Calgary. They introduced me to the book ''The Go-Giver'' by saying it was clearly going to change my life. You know, the rest is history. I read the book every year. I can't get enough.
Q: Finally, how can we know if someone we come in contact with is a good connection or prospective client for you?
Women CEOs struggling with chaos in both their personal and professional lives. They wish to feel lighter, happier and live a simpler life.
